Paint protection film (PPF) is a clear, thermoplastic urethane film applied to the Exterior and Interior painted surfaces of a vehicle to protect them from rock chips, bug splatter, and other road debris.

The duration of paint protection film installation may fluctuate based on factors such as the vehicle model and the intricacy of the installation process. Generally, it ranges from 24 to 48 hours, contingent upon the size of the vehicle and the complexity of installation. Following installation, there is typically a drying period for the PPF, which typically lasts around 7 days.
Hands-on practice is essential; without it, achieving success is nearly impossible. The installation of the PPF with the right set of tools is crucial for achieving a flawless finish, ensuring every corner of the vehicle is adequately covered. It is strongly advised to have the PPF installed by experienced professionals.
High-quality PPF, crafted through extensive research by leading manufacturers, often entails importation to India, which may lead to higher costs. However, these premium products come with added benefits, reflected in their price. The pricing of paint protection film is contingent upon factors such as the vehicle’s size, the type of film chosen, and the installer’s rates. Paint Protection Films are globally accessible, and categorised by their grades according to their merits. Numerous manufacturers produce PPF, but we exclusively procure from seasoned, technologically advanced manufacturers to ensure our films are crafted by professionals. MotoShield paint protection film is available in both gloss and matte finishes, Colour PPF rivalling other PPF products on the market in terms of clarity, durability, and self-healing capabilities.
The transparent paint protection film is applicable to both the exterior and interior sections of your vehicle, covering areas such as the hood, fenders, bumpers, mirrors, door edges, front and rear lights, interior screens, door panels, and more.

Self-healing paint protection film has the ability to repair minor scratches and swirl marks on its own when exposed to heat with hot water pouring on it making it an excellent choice for maintaining a flawless finish.
However please note that Self-healing top coat offers a limited shelf life (depending on how the film is maintained) and is not covered under warranty.
If you have invested in Motoshield or any other high-quality PPF, removing it after an extended period shouldn’t pose any problems. Good-quality PPF can be peeled off without harming the underlying paint, making it convenient for replacement or removal when needed. .

Caring for paint protection film is relatively easy and involves regular washing and waxing to maintain its appearance and protective properties. Please refer to the “Product Care Guide” which is provided to all customers post PPF Application.
While it’s possible to install paint protection film over a ceramic coating, it’s essential to consult with a professional installer to ensure compatibility and proper application.
MotoShield provides a warranty lasting up to 8 years for its paint protection film, typically addressing “manufacturing defects” such as adhesive failure, discolouration, crackling, and yellowing in materials for a designated period.
Regular wear and tear, external damage, and self-healing properties are not included in warranty claims.
For precise warranty information, terms, and conditions, individuals can inquire directly from MotoShield or its Authorised Detailing Outlet. We will also assist with PAN India warranty coverage and support through Motohshield’s registered detailers.
